Esta zona verde de aproximadamente cinco hectáreas se encuentra entre el polideportivo homónimo, el Mandel, la carretera Meulebeeksesteenweg y el Gaverbeek. Según una leyenda popular, aquí vivía Calle con el gancho. Ese espíritu aparecía en los pozos de agua de las viviendas cercanas y atraía a los transeúntes con golosinas hacia la barandilla del puente para luego arrastrarlos al agua. Ahora es un lugar mucho más agradable. Junto con la provincia, el gobierno municipal transformó esta área de cinco hectáreas en una zona natural. En el parque se han construido caminos para bicicletas y peatones, y se han plantado árboles autóctonos.
