Te encuentras aquí junto al local del Club de Canotaje De Rupelsneppen, con la Firma Beton Coeck detrás. Hasta 1856, había aquí un molino de viento de piedra para prensar aceite. Fue fundado en 1699
por Jan Kinnie, sobre los restos de la antigua Fort De Sterre, justo al lado del Rupel. Y aquí se desarrolla la leyenda de ‘t Kennieke, mejor conocido como “El fantasma de la Fábrica de Cemento”... Escucha y estremece, “oep z’n Niels”.
