Esta caminata te lleva a través de una gran área boscosa: el bosque del dominio de Mirwart. El curso medio del Lomme se extiende de sur a norte a través de sus meandros. En el centro del bosque se encuentra el pueblo de Mirwart. Un poco al sur de él, en un pequeño claro, encontrarás el pueblo de Smuid. En el bosque, un poco al oeste de ahí, alguna vez existió un pequeño pueblo o mejor dicho un mini-pueblo: Marsolle, lejos de todo el bullicio. Sin embargo, la peste allí probablemente tuvo éxito en azotar ese lugar solitario en el siglo XVI.
