Además, también puedes cruzar la frontera alemana para buscar agradables ascensos cerca de Monschau, de hasta 5 km de longitud. Una muralla que definitivamente debes intentar es la llamada Grünental desde Hammer. Es un favorito entre algunos profesionales.
