Esta caminata de más de 8 km se puede interrumpir en varios lugares de descanso. Dos refugios y, sobre todo, la taberna forestal Hasenspringweg ofrecen asientos y, si es necesario, un techo protector sobre la cabeza. El camino forestal alargado hasta Liebenburg es muy ancho y fácil de caminar. Algunos vitrinas con paneles informativos en la casa forestal de Liebenburg informan sobre los animales y plantas del bosque. En el camino se pueden obtener algunas vistas del campo de golf. Para una parada, está disponible la taberna forestal Hasenspring (prestar atención a los horarios de apertura). El camino de regreso al balneario termal se realiza a través del llamado sendero de los abedules. Al final, se sube a la izquierda por la calle Bismarck y luego se vuelve a girar a la izquierda en la Avenida del Parque de regreso al aparcamiento.
