De este edificio "A Serea" (la sirena), que se encuentra junto al Faro, salen dos bocinas (antes solo había una) que, hasta hace unos años, emitían un ruido ensordecedor en los días de niebla con el fin de alertar a los barcos, lo que le dio su nombre de "vaca de Finisterre". Cuando estas alarmas sonaron de repente, ¡más de uno se llevó un buen susto!
