Los campos mimados: El regadío.
El sendero de los Almendros permite descubrir el paisaje característico de la Reserva Natural de las Riberas de Castronuño, donde almendros, observatorios de aves y la propia ribera del río Duero son protagonistas. Una vez se deja atrás la presa de San José el recorrido se adentra en la fértil vega del río Duero, donde las fincas de regadío, continuamente mimadas por el agua, ofrecen magníficas cosechas de alfalfa, maíz y remolacha. La bella localidad de Toro, situada en un balcón natural, alzándose en el horizonte, guiará los pasos en el tramo final.
