Entre volcanes dormidos.
El ferrocarril de vía estrecha unía las localidades de Olot y Gerona y fue una de las principales vías de comunicación durante casi un siglo, hasta su desmantelamiento el 16 de julio de 1969. En sus 66 km (incluidos los carriles bici) de longitud, atravesaba tres comarcas, doce pueblos y recorría los valles de los ríos Fluvià, Brugent y Ter, facilitando el intercambio y las relaciones entre las tierras del interior de la provincia.
