El Bosque Nacional Sivry-Rance cubre actualmente una superficie de 523 hectáreas. Está rodeado por un bosque de más de 1.000 hectáreas que se extiende al norte y al oeste del pueblo de Rance.
Los bosques del bosque nacional están atravesados por la N53 y el Ravel y, por tanto, son de fácil acceso. El bosque estatal de Rance forma parte del macizo forestal del Forêt du Pays de Chimay.
