Fabrice Hyber(t) es autor en 1989 de "L'Homme de Bessines". Estos pequeños hombrecitos verdes de 86 cm de altura instalados en la red de agua del municipio, fuentes que escupen agua por todos los orificios corporales, responden a un pedido público de mobiliario urbano y reflejan el estrecho vínculo existente entre el maraîchin y el Marais Poitevin.
Este artista de renombre internacional que vive en París realiza también en 1991 el jabón más grande del mundo inscrito en la Guiness des récords (22 toneladas moldeadas en un contenedor de camiones). En 1995, transformó el Museo de Arte Moderno de París en "Hybermarché" e instaló una peluquería profesional en el Centro Georges Pompidou con motivo de la exposición Femenino/Masculino de 1996.
