Esta ruta comienza en el aparcamiento del Grand Ballon. Con sus 1424 m, es la montaña más alta de los Vosgos. Desde la montaña se obtiene una hermosa vista del parque natural. La ruta desciende junto al Lac du Ballon. El descenso posterior se realiza a lo largo del Seebach. A lo largo del camino, verás las hermosas cascadas del Seebach. La ruta luego regresa al punto de partida. Tiene una longitud total de 14,2 km.
