Piazza Grande es una explanada construida en el siglo XII delante de la entrada de la catedral de Módena en Italia en el centro histórico de la villa. A pesar de su nombre, la plaza no es realmente muy grande, pero recibió este nombre en la Edad Media, época en la que las plazas eran bastante más pequeñas. Figura en la lista del Patrimonio de la Humanidad de la Unesco desde 1997, con la catedral y su campanario, la Torre Ghirlandina.[1]
