El acueducto de Barga es una estructura de piedra con una serie de hermosas arcadas. Tenía una función muy importante, si no esencial: el abastecimiento de agua a los pozos del centro de la ciudad. La primera fuente de este conducto se construyó en 1501 y podía transportar agua desde la fuente de Rupina hasta el castillo de Barga.
Hoy puedes verlo de cerca dando un paseo por el Parque Fratelli Kennedy, ubicado en el foso donde una vez estuvo el antiguo pueblo medieval. A su alrededor también es muy impresionante ver las muchas pequeñas villas que se han construido y que dan una sensación de unidad entre la antigüedad y la modernidad.
