El antiguo Monte di Pietà , el Oratorio del Santissimo Sacramento y la Iglesia del Anime Sante del Purgatorio dominan la llanura.
En el muro de contención del piso frente al Monte di Pietà hay cuatro estatuas de piedra de los patrones: el Beato Giovanni Liccio, Santa Rosalia, San Nicasio Martire y San Teotista, obras atribuidas al escultor Giuseppe Ponti de 1682.
En el centro de la plaza hay una columna de piedra coronada por una cruz, conocida como el Pilar de la Picota , a la que estaban atados los pecadores no herejes durante el período de la Inquisición.
