Hengelo () es una aldea en el municipio de Bronckhorst, provincia de Güeldres, en los Países Bajos. Tiene 6480 habitantes. La aldea está marcada por la agricultura y tiene algo de industria. Sirve como centro comercial para las aldeas circundantes. Hasta el Holocausto en los Países Bajos, había una comunidad sinagoga en Hengelo. En el lugar de la antigua sinagoga en la Synagogestraat, en el centro del pueblo, hay una placa conmemorativa con una estrella de David y un shofar que lo recuerda.
