Esta ruta de senderismo atraviesa el paisaje en y alrededor de Houthem y a lo largo del Geul. A través de puntos de senderismo, descubrirás un área verde a poca distancia de Valkenburg. Pasarás por el Château St. Gerlach, donde la naturaleza y el patrimonio monumental se encuentran, y verás en los alrededores el colorido edificio Ronald McDonald Kindervallei, diseñado por Hundertwasser. La región forma parte de Naar BuitenGoed, una colaboración entre Valkenburg, Meerssen y Maastricht, y ofrece una combinación variada de naturaleza, arquitectura e historia cultural.
