Esta ruta de senderismo comienza en Houthem y sube a través de puntos de senderismo en dirección a Groot Haasdal. Mira regularmente hacia atrás para disfrutar de las vistas sobre el pueblo y el serpenteante Geul.
Con el Castillo de St. Gerlach y la majestuosa iglesia de H. Gerlachus, Houthem forma un conjunto destacado en el paisaje de colinas. Alrededor se ven principalmente campos abiertos y algunos árboles aquí y allá. Una ruta con diferencias de altitud y vistas características sobre el valle del Geul.
