Ghasa pertenece al pueblo de Lethe. A partir de ahí , el lecho del Kali Ghandaki se estrecha considerablemente.
El desfiladero más profundo del río está aquí, enclavado entre altas montañas. El profundo desfiladero es diez veces más profundo que el Gran Cañón estadounidense , formado por los grandes flancos de las séptimas montañas más altas Dhaulagiri y Annapurna I.
Ghasa se encuentra en la frontera de las regiones de Annapurna y Mustang.
