Esta es la segunda capilla del santuario del Bom Jesus.
Esta capilla representa el momento en que Jesús ora en el Huerto de los Olivos (Getsemaní) , justo antes de ser traicionado y arrestado. Jesús ora solo mientras sus discípulos Pedro, Santiago y Juan duermen. Un ángel se le aparece y le ofrece un cáliz, simbolizando el sufrimiento que tendrá que soportar.
En el interior hay un grupo de estatuas : Jesús está arrodillado en oración. Los discípulos, dormidos, yacen en el suelo. El ángel con el cáliz cuelga sobre él.
