Going est une commune de 1950 habitants dans le district de Kitzbühel en Tyrol. La commune se situe dans le district judiciaire de Kitzbühel. Going se trouve dans la zone de transition entre le Leukental et le Sölllandl, à l'ouest de St. Johann en Tyrol, entre les Alpes de Kitzbühel au sud et le Wilden Kaiser au nord. Du côté de sa frontière sud, Going est limitrophe de la vallée de Brixen.
