Rien ne laisse supposer que le tout petit Hoeke, sur les rives de l'ancienne Zwingeul, était autrefois une ville portuaire importante comme Damme. Sur le pont, vous rencontrerez l'hôtel et bistro Welkom, qui apprécie le cycliste avec un garage à vélos convenable, des cartes de vélos, une location de vélos et surtout une grande terrasse. Il y a des crêpes, des coupes de glace, une tarte chaude aux cerises et une carte de bières très variée. Fermé le jeudi.
