Ici vous avez une belle vue sur Braine-le-Château, situé dans la vallée prononcée de la Haine. C'est un affluent de l' Escaut . Le Hene prend sa source sur le plateau d'Anderlues dans le Hainaut , en Belgique , coule de Nimy de Henekom et se jette dans l'Escaut à Condé-sur-l'Escaut , juste de l'autre côté de la frontière française entre Tournai et Mons . Le cours d'eau a donné son nom à l'ancien comté, aujourd'hui la province du Hainaut (en français: Hainaut ).
