Cette chapelle est située rue du Pays-du-Roi à Somme-Leuze.
La chapelle a été construite en 1919 par les paroissiens de la Somme-Leuze car ils ont été épargnés par les massacres du 20 août 1914 . 11 civils innocents ont été tués et 20 maisons incendiées. 8 hommes ont été arrêtés et déportés.
La chapelle d'origine n'a plus pu être restaurée et a donc été reconstruite à l'emplacement du cimetière . La chapelle actuelle a été fondée grâce aux anciens combattants, prisonniers et résistants de la Seconde Guerre mondiale.
Conformément à la tradition du Sacré-Cœur, la chapelle abrite une grande statue du Christ avec un cœur .
