Une très belle combinaison des Meersen de Gentbrugge, qui nous offre chaque saison un autre aperçu de la nature changeante, le monument de la paix, le chemin de fer et de randonnée le long de l'Escaut ancien, les jardins ouvriers, les prairies et la forêt alluviale.
Étant donné que cette magnifique réserve naturelle est située près de Gand, elle peut être assez fréquentée pendant les week-ends et les journées ensoleillées, notamment sur le Scheldepad (beaucoup de cyclistes).
