Poschiavo est une commune suisse du canton des Grisons, située dans la région de Bernina et des Alpes Rhétiques.
Géographiquement et politiquement, Poschiavo a la particularité de se trouver dans une vallée qui descend vers la Valteline italienne , c'est-à-dire que la ville est au sud de la ligne de partage des eaux de la chaîne alpine. Poschiavo est en effet séparé du reste de la Suisse par le col de la Bernina. Sa vallée fait d'ailleurs partie des secteurs italophones du canton des Grisons.
