Le château de Schwarzenburg est un château situé sur la commune de Schwarzenburg dans le canton de Berne en Suisse. C’est un site du patrimoine suisse d’importance nationale.
Le château a été construit en 1573-76 pour remplacer le château de Grasburg, de plus en plus coûteux à entretenir. Dès le début, il a été construit comme un centre administratif pour le district de Grasburg et comme une maison pour le gouverneur. Grasburg étant un condominium partagé entre les cantons de Berne et de Fribourg, le gouverneur était nommé à tour de rôle par chaque canton. Après l’invasion française de 1798, le château de Schwarzenburg et le quartier sont devenus une partie de Berne de façon permanente. Le château est resté le centre administratif du district de Schwarzenburg jusqu’à sa dissolution en 2010 dans le cadre d’une réorganisation majeure du canton. Le château n’était plus nécessaire et était l’un des douze que le canton a mis en vente. C’était le premier de ce groupe qui a vendu, lorsque le canton a accepté l’offre de la fondation du château de Schwarzenburg avant que la réorganisation ne soit terminée. Aujourd’hui, le château est utilisé pour des expositions d’art et peut être loué pour des célébrations et des réunions.
