Le Felixsee est un lac artificiel situé dans la commune du même nom, à l’ouest de la ville de Döbern, dans le district de Spree-Neiße. Il a été créé par l’inondation d’une mine de lignite à ciel ouvert.
Le Felixsee est situé dans le Muskauer Faltenbogen et se trouve à environ 12 kilomètres à l’est de Spremberg et à 15 kilomètres au sud de l’A15. De 1850 à 1930, le lac actuel était une mine de lignite à ciel ouvert. Le nom Felixsee remonte au nom de la mine à ciel ouvert « Felix ».
