Torquay est une ville britannique, située en bordure de la Manche, dans le Sud de l'Angleterre, dans le comté de Devon.
Elle est administrativement rattachée, depuis le 1er avril 1998, à l'autorité unitaire de Torbay,
dont elle est le chef-lieu, subdivision qui comprend également, en descendant vers le sud, les villes côtières de Paignton, avec laquelle elle forme une seule agglomération, et Brixham, ainsi que quelques petites localités de moindre importance à l'intérieur des terres.
