L'église Saint-Martin figure également sur la liste du patrimoine mondial de l'UNESCO. Saint-Martin était la chapelle privée de la reine Bertha de Kent et date déjà du 6ème siècle. C'est donc la plus ancienne église paroissiale d'Angleterre qui a été en service sans interruption. Le cimetière lui-même vaut également le détour, car vous y trouverez de nombreuses personnalités connues, dont le paysagiste anglais Thomas Sidney Cooper et Mary Tourtel, la créatrice du personnage de livre pour enfants Rupert Bear.
