L'église Saint-Ignace ou l'église jésuite est un édifice de l'Église catholique romaine desservi par la Compagnie de Jésus, à côté du Coláiste Iognáid à Galway. Elle a été fondée en 1863 et est un bâtiment protégé dans la ville.
Les jésuites sont arrivés à Galway en 1620. En 1645, ils ont construit leur première école dans la région. Tout au long du 17ème siècle, ils ont été bannis et invités à revenir à Galway à de nombreuses reprises. En 1652, ils ont dû partir en raison de l'arrivée de l'armée d'Oliver Cromwell dans la région. Ils sont ensuite revenus avec la restauration de Charles II en 1660, mais ont de nouveau été bannis en 1691 par l'armée de Guillaume III, revenant enfin en 1728.
