L'église a été fondée en 1552 par le clerc Angelo di Poto sur un terrain concédé par la municipalité. L'église actuelle a été construite entre 1746 et 1757, en remplacement de l'autre qui se trouvait au nord-est, à l'angle de l'intersection de la via SS. Salvatore avec via Trinità.
L'église a une seule nef, avec 3 autels et une petite chapelle . Le portail élégant et simple frappe par la façade harmonieuse avec des marches .
Parmi les œuvres, nous trouvons : peut-être des tissus des SS du XVIIe siècle . Trinità et deux autres tableaux (Marie Auxiliatrice et Saint Jean Bosco).
