À Montferland, de nombreuses pierres errantes, parfois grandes, ont été découvertes. Celles-ci ont été transportées depuis la Scandinavie lors de la dernière glaciation (Saalien, il y a environ 238.000 à 126.000.000 ans) avec les glaces. À Stokkum, une grande pierre (Berghse Kei) a été déterrée et est maintenant visible à l'entrée du château de ’s-Heerenberg, à Hoch-Elten se trouve un ‘Findling’ et il y en a également une exposée sur le terrain de ’t Peeske à Beek.
La pierre, qui se trouve ici au carrefour en T, semble avoir été déplacée pour marquer ce croisement.
