Beyoğlu est un district d'İstanbul situé sur la rive européenne du Bosphore et séparé de la vieille ville par la Corne d'Or.
Il est connu sous le nom de Pera au cours du Moyen Âge, et ce nom est resté en usage jusqu'au début du XXe siècle et la mise en place de la République turque.
