Il Bielerhöhe collega il Montafon del Vorarlberg con il Paznaun del Tirolo. Il passo si trova a 2037 m sul livello del mare, direttamente a nord del lago Silvretta e interamente nel territorio del Vorarlberg. Il Bielerhöhe è il punto più alto accessibile della Silvretta-Hochalpenstraße, una strada a pagamento che attraversa il Bielerhöhe, che è chiusa al normale traffico in inverno a causa della sua posizione esposta.
