La chiesa parrocchiale cattolica romana di Liesing nel comune di Lesachtal è dedicata a san Nicola. Alla parrocchia di Liesing appartengono anche le chiese filiali di Klebas, Niedergail, Obergail, Oberring e Tscheltsch.
Una chiesa a Liesing è stata menzionata per la prima volta nel 1321. Nel 1429 Liesing è stata elevata a parrocchia. Dopo un'invasione turca, la chiesa è stata consacrata nuovamente nel 1485 da Pietro Carlo, il vescovo di Caorle. Nel XVIII secolo sono state rinnovate le volte, le finestre e il portale. Nel 1869 l'edificio sacro è stato ristrutturato in stile neobarocco e durante il restauro dal 1962 al 1965 è stato nuovamente riportato in stile gotico.
