Wolvenberg e Brilschanspark sono quasi i soli luoghi nel paesaggio della Groene Bedding dove la struttura storica della cinta muraria è ancora riconoscibile. Nel Brilschanspark è presente ancora una parte autentica del fossato della fortezza sotto forma di uno stagno a forma di uncino, che un tempo era il fossato di un ravelijn. La Brilschans fu già demolita all'inizio del XX secolo. Solo nel 1963 si decise di trasformare l'area in un parco pubblico.
