Il barone Lancelot de Gottignies fece costruire questa abitazione in Via del Villaggio 67 come residenza estiva. Sopra la porta si trova lo scudo con i 3 martelli di faggio e l'anno 1742. L'edificio che chiude il cortile interno era probabilmente utilizzato come birrificio. Anche lì si può trovare lo scudo in pietra dura blu. Dall'altra parte si trovano ancora gli edifici che fungevano da stalle per i cavalli. Qui troviamo l'anno 1755. La vecchia Cam è stata acquistata nel 1992 dal comune e nel corso degli anni successivi è stata ampliata fino a diventare l'attuale centro comunitario che è diventato il fulcro della vita culturale di Gooik. In De Cam si trova anche un caffè popolare, una distilleria di geuze e un museo degli strumenti popolari.
