La Torre delle Vergini a Zichem è un edificio del XIV secolo (1383-1430).
La torre è conosciuta anche come Torre di Marca, Torre di Lanteern o Vat di Zichem. La funzione che la torre aveva non è ancora chiara. Potrebbe essere stata sia una torre di difesa che una torre residenziale di grande prestigio. La Torre delle Vergini potrebbe riferirsi a una leggenda, mentre uno studio del 1969 indica che la torre sarebbe stata una torre di difesa. Torre di Marca (marca=confine) fa riferimento a questo.
Guglielmo II di Gulik vendette Zichem a Renier I di Schoonvorst nel 1383. Suo figlio, Renier II di Schoonvorst, fece costruire la torre. Il suo scudo araldico è visibile al primo piano. Intorno al 1430, Renier vendette i suoi beni a Tommaso II, Signore di Diest.
Durante la Guerra dei Trent'anni, la torre perse tra l'altro il suo ponte levatoio e l'ultimo piano. Seguirono restauri nel 1865, 1903 e 2007.
