Al centro delle foreste di Vagevuur si trova il cosiddetto Hendriksberg, un elemento di rilievo notevole (cuesta o collina asimmetrica). Qui, nell'ambito della gestione naturale, sono stati abbattuti alberi per sviluppare una vista aperta dalla brughiera secca verso i prati più umidi situati più in basso. Grazie al gradiente da umido a secco sulla pendice e all'ottima esposizione al sole, ci aspettiamo una grande diversità di valori naturali. Anche una specie come il lucertolone viviparo è prevista qui.
