Il Grande Gete è un fiume belga che, dopo la confluenza con il Piccolo Gete, forma il vero Gete. Il Grande Gete nasce nel comune vallone di Perwijs vicino alla via romana. Passa abbazia di La Ramée, incrocia la strada Namur-Tienen e scorre attraverso i villaggi: Geest-Gérompont, Mont-Saint-André, Bomal, Klein-Geten, Geldenaken, Sint-Jans-Geest, Hoegaarden, Tienen, Oplinter, Neerlinter, Drieslinter e Budingen, dove forma per breve distanza il confine con Helen-Bos.
