Una volta usciti dalla Bremweide, il paesaggio termina bruscamente in direzione nord all'altezza di Bisschoppenhoflaan. L'unica zona verde è quella alla Bijkhoeve. La valle della Kleine Schijn dietro di essa è completamente asfaltata e non c'è più spazio per la natura. La connessione con le aree verdi a Schoten è interrotta dall'attività economica e dal canale Albert. Il ripristino di questa connessione potrebbe rappresentare un grande valore aggiunto sia dal punto di vista ecologico che ricreativo. È uno dei punti di attenzione che i futuri progetti infrastrutturali in quest'area meritano di essere considerati, poiché sono cruciali per la struttura verde in e intorno ad Anversa.
