Nell'anno 1500 la Cappella di San Lievino è stata descritta come "la chiesa di san lievino a san lievino a bassa sul vino" alias sorgente consacrata. Questa sorgente adiacente era già stata menzionata nel 1472 come "sorgente di san lievino". Possiamo ragionevolmente supporre che sia stata restaurata e amplificata del doppio nel 1471, dopo che l'abate di San Baffo ripristinò il culto di Livino, dopo aver restaurato anche la chiesa di Houtem e fornita di una cripta, dopo la sua distruzione nel 1453. La Cappella di San Lievino sulla Kapellekouter è diventata da allora un luogo di pellegrinaggio molto frequentato. Soprattutto attorno alla Pasqua, la gente veniva a invocare il santo Lievin contro il reumatismo, la febbre, la gotta, i dolori ai piedi e alle mani. Sopra la porta d'ingresso notiamo anche una nicchia ad arco datata (1703) con l'immagine di Livino.
