Il sentiero Dikke van Pamel rende omaggio al cittadino più famoso di Roosdaal (Pamel): "Den Dikke van Pamel" (o localmente semplicemente chiamato "den dikke"). Visse nel XIX secolo con il nome di "Victor De Klercq". La passeggiata parte dalla chiesa di Sint-Gaugericus (Brusselstraat) a Pamel. Lungo il cammino si passa vicino a bunker della Seconda Guerra Mondiale, alla Corte "De Kam" e tramite il sentiero del Dender si arriva al monumento del "Dikken van Pamel". Il percorso attraversa anche l'area naturale della "turfput". Il sentiero è segnalato e in due punti ci sono alternative/possibilità di accorciamento. Puoi trovarle qui .
