Il ghiacciaio dell'Allalin si trova in Svizzera nel canton Vallese. Si trova ad ovest del lago Mattmark nella valle Saastal. Misura 6,5 chilometri di lunghezza e raggiunge una larghezza di 1,5 chilometri. La sua superficie è di circa 10 km².
Il ghiacciaio è alimentato dai nevai arroccati sul versante sud del Strahlhorn . Inizia con una discesa sull'asse nord-est prima di svoltare verso est, essendo la sua discesa verso nord bloccata dal monte Allalinhorn . Ad ovest il ghiacciaio dell'Allalin è collegato al ghiacciaio di Mellich attraverso il passo Allalin . La lingua del ghiacciaio termina ad ovest della diga del lago Mattmark ad una altezza di circa 2.750 m .
