Lahnstein è una città nel Land tedesco della Renania-Palatinato, situata alla foce della Lahn nel Reno. Lahnstein appartiene al distretto della Rhein-Lahn-Kreis e conta 18.030 abitanti. Fino al 1969, Oberlahnstein e Niederlahnstein erano comuni separati: Oberlahnstein si trova a sud della foce della Lahn e Niederlahnstein a nord di essa.
