La città anseatica di Breckerfeld [brɛkɐˈfɛɫt] è un comune nel sud-est della regione della Ruhr in Renania Settentrionale-Vestfalia ed è il comune più meridionale della contea di Ennepe-Ruhr. Ha la funzione di un ben sviluppato sotto-centro.
Breckerfeld si trova a circa 17 km a sud di Hagen. È la terza città per superficie, ma la più piccola in termini di popolazione della contea di Ennepe-Ruhr. Possiede una struttura prevalentemente rurale in un paesaggio collinare. La cima più alta, il Wengeberg, raggiunge i 441 m sul livello del mare ed è anche la vetta più alta della regione della Ruhr. La posizione favorevole sul margine settentrionale delle Scarparegne della Renania garantisce un clima piuttosto fresco e piovoso con precipitazioni annuali di circa 1200 mm.
