Il monastero di Knechtsteden è un'ex abbazia premonstratense risalente all'inizio del XII secolo, che dal 1896 è di proprietà dell'ordine dei Spiritani. Si trova a ovest di Dormagen, a ovest di Delhoven e a sud-sud-ovest di Straberg.
Il complesso monastico sorge su una dolce collina accanto alla depressione di un ex braccio del Reno. È composto da un'area da cui emergono il portale e la basilica monastica di San Andrea. Nel complesso monastico si trovano anche il liceo cattolico Norbert e un ristorante. Il monastero si trova in un'area di svago e protezione della natura.
