Il Forum Wiedenest e. V. è un'opera cristiano-evangelicale con tre ambiti di lavoro: Missione mondiale, Accademia Biblico-Teologica e Forum Giovanile e Comunitario. Collabora in particolare con le comunità dei fratelli e dei battisti.
L'Accademia Biblico-Teologica è stata fondata nel 1905 a Berlino-Steglitz come "Scuola Biblica dell'Alleanza" per permettere a cristiani provenienti da Russia e Europa dell'Est di ricevere un'istruzione teologica. Questi cristiani si erano precedentemente fatti battezzare battista e per questo erano stati espulsi dalla scuola biblica della Deutsche Orient-Mission di Berlino, guidata da Johannes Lepsius. Contemporaneamente, dal 1904, c'erano già stati tentativi da parte del lavoro dell'Alleanza di Bad Blankenburg di fondare una casa per fratelli dell'Alleanza.
