La torre dell'acqua a Krümmel è uno degli ultimi edifici conservati della ex fabbrica di dinamite Krümmel di Alfred Nobel. Si trova sulla pendenza di Geest sopra l'Elba. La torre, parzialmente nascosta dagli alberi, versa in uno stato di conservazione pessimo ed è stata chiusa e recintata da qualche tempo a causa del rischio di crollo. Il proprietario è il gruppo energetico svedese Vattenfall, che gestisce anche la vicina centrale nucleare di Krümmel.
La torre dell'acqua, alta 30 m e di forma cilindrica, è un edificio in calcestruzzo armato rivestito di mattoni. I muri sopra il piano terra sono suddivisi da lesene. In ognuno dei campi delimitati dalle lesene ci sono tre finestre, una per ogni piano. I muri nella parte superiore sporgono poco. Si conclude con un cornicione di piccole finestre. La torre è coperta da una cupola con lanterna.
