Il centro civico Schulze Frenkings Hof è una struttura per cittadini, associazioni, club ecc.
È a disposizione per spettacoli teatrali, concerti, mostre e tutti gli altri eventi culturali, così come per convegni, congressi, seminari e anche per feste e celebrazioni. Le istituzioni pubbliche possono utilizzare la casa, ma anche tutti i cittadini, aziende private, organizzazioni e gruppi da vicino e lontano.
Questo vale particolarmente anche per le associazioni e i club della regione.
Il Hof Schulze Frenking può vantare una storia di circa 1000 anni. Dalle prime menzioni documentarie del 1022 si sviluppa un tipico gräftehof della Münsterland con un'importanza centrale per Appelhülsen.
Negli anni '80, il comune di Nottuln acquisì il Hof e trasformò la storica struttura in un centro civico. Nel 1988 il Hof poteva essere consegnato alla sua nuova destinazione in prossimità della chiesa.
